Designed to provide complete luxury at the highest level whilst offering the latest in technology we think you will agree that The Old School House is stunning in its appearance both inside and out.
The cosy lounge room provides a wonderful Inglenook fireplace and bay window with window seat that leads to the dining room that can seat up to 10 people. The dining room has double doors leading out on to the private patio area.
From the front entrance, there is a useful boot room and utility area with separate access to
outside, perfect for coming back from lovely country walks in the surrounding countryside. The well appointed kitchen-breakfast room benefits from all the latest appliances but also boasts a working double AGA (winter months only), perfect for cosy winter months whilst the limestone floor in the kitchen and hallway provides underfloor heating. Downstairs also benefits from a separate cloakroom and a dedicated study area.
The first and second floors offer generous sized bedrooms, well presented bathrooms and useful landing areas with oak balustrades, glazed panels and exposed timbers. Each bedroom has its own distinct style and is furnished with sumptuous cotton linen, and fluffy
towels.
Parents with young families in tow will particularly like the king size master bedroom on the second floor with its vaulted ceiling, with a cot made available on request as well as a highchair. In addition, young children will enjoy the dedicated chill out area provided with
its own TV / DVD located on the second floor.
The beautifully manicured gardens surround the house with lawns and terraces benefiting from an outdoor table with seating for all guests plus extra friends or family who wish to visit during their stay, in addition a private and secluded terrace with direct access from the dining room for those alfresco breakfasts and intimate dining.
The Old School House is tucked away, on a no-through road, in the heart of the village with ample parking for 4 cars and access to the electric car charger installed for guests use.
Dumbleton offers a fantastic base to visit the nearby Cotswold villages such as Broadway, Chipping Campden, Snowshill and Winchcombe. Evesham, Cheltenham and Stratford-upon-Avon are the main shopping and cultural centres for the region.
The surrounding countryside offers many excellent walks. The Old School House is located on the route of the famous Cotswolds Way walk which is popular with walkers and there are ample sporting opportunities close including horse-riding and golf. There are mainline stations to London from Evesham (about 9 miles away) or Moreton-in-Marsh.
Altogether The Old School House is an idyllic and indulgent retreat that once found can be very hard to leave.
